Visit to Stuart Town

Stuart Town is a small village 60kms from Orange in the Central West New South Wales.
I left Orange on a very damp ,cloudy day with the gloomy skies coming right down to the horizon. As I passed through Euchareena , another small village,  I stopped at the old wooden church just as a shaft of light pushed through the gloom and hit the church .I barely had enough time to get out my camera before the sun disappeared for good.I exposed for the church, which I knew would leave the background very dark.

By the time I had arrived in Stuart Town the weather had closed in further with rain threatening. The old abandoned house caught my eye.

Before leaving I passed over the railway line - this was still in use , but the old railway cottage had long been abandoned.
